With the addition of CBR1000RR, American Honda powersports product line now covers 58 models, many of them completely new or significantly redesigned.
The new CBR1000RR provides a higher level of weight reduction and compact, centralized mass to produce the pinnacle of sporting performance and rideability.
It has a liquid-cooled DOHC 16-valve, 999cc, four-stroke four-cylinder in-line engine and not a V4 or V5 as the rumors were. The bike is not designed in line with the MotoGP machine, and is very unique identity and look. The bore and stroke dimensions are 76 mm x 55.1mm.
